Dear guests, here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Do I have to be a member of Tennis Point Vienna?

No, the Tennis Point Vienna is open to all sports enthusiasts. Everyone can reserve / book courts. No membership is required.

 

How can I book a court?

You can easily make a reservation using the following options:

1a) Click on the button "BOOKING HERE" directly on the homepage. You can use the booking program to choose between tennis, badminton and squash.

1b) Or you can click on the "BOOKING HERE" button on the sub-page, for example: Badminton, and you will also be taken to the booking platform. 

2) Please understand, that reservations for weekends or holidays as well as for new guests in general can only be done online. (because very often guest book, but don't come and don't pay)...

 

How are the terms of cancellation?

# Courts can be cancelled max. 24h before playing without costs. If you have payed in advance, you will get the amount payed for the cancelled unit as credit on your tennis account.

# If you cancel within 24h before the booked time, we try to sell the court again. If it works, you will get a VOUCHER which is kept at the reception. Just ask for it at your next visit. If the re-sell did not work, please understand that we can not give a voucher.

 

 

You are MYCLUBS-member? You can do the reservation by calling us or at the reception desk. 

Please tell right at the beginning that you want to book via myclubs. Otherwise we have to do the booking twice.
Booking for my clubs online is not possible.

Do I need special shoes to play tennis?

Appropriate footwear is highly recommended. 

Please note that it is forbidden to enter the court (= the tennishall!) with red sand shoes or street shoes or sportshoes worn outside (even from the parking to the entrance)!

Shoes have to be changed in the lockers room, NOT on court!

If the court shows signs of sand or dirt we have to charge a flat-rate cleaning fee of 50.00.

 

Do I need special shoes to play badminton / pickleball / tabletennis?

Appropriate footwear is highly recommended. 

Please note that it is forbidden to enter the court (= the badmintonhall!) with dirty shoes,  shoes with black sole, street shoes or sportshoes worn outside (even from the parking to the entrance)!

Shoes have to be changed in the lockers room, NOT on court!

If the court shows signs of black/dark stripes or dirt we have to charge a flat-rate cleaning fee of 50.00.

How far in advance can I book / reserve seats / courts?

You can make a reservation by phone 14 days in advance or online 14 days in advance (exact time). If you have several places for a tournament on a certain day that is more than 14 days ahead, please give us a call :)!

How can I pay with credits? How does the system work? How do I get reduced prices?

Online or at the reception you can create your own account – of course for free.

On this account you can put credits. If you upload / buy 100,00 Euro or more, a reduced price per hour will be discharged from your credit-account. Once all your credits are used, you can easily buy new credits online or at the reception.

 

Other advantages are:

Of course, you can also transfer TPV vouchers on your account.

On your credit-account you can see and handle all your bookings.

Also you can buy in our shop with your credits.

 

Please note, that, if you want to pay by credits at the reception, you be asked for an ID.

Is there parking at Tennis Point Vienna? How about the parking lot and the barrier?

There is a car park with around 40 parking spaces in front of the Tennis Point Vienna. We ask for your understanding that these are reserved for patients of ATS Physio and subscribers.

Is the sauna free? When can I use the sauna?

The sauna is available to Abo-guests of Tennis Point Vienna after tennis / badminton / squash / table tennis on that day. the  You can find the sauna opening times directly on the homepage.  Please note that for safety reasons, at least two people must use the sauna. Please note the opening hours on the home-site or at the reception.

 

Can I use the sauna even if I am not playing tennis / badminton / squash / table tennis?

We ask for your understanding that we cannot offer sauna visits only, as the sauna is available to our playing guests.  

 

Are there rackets for rent?

Of course, you can choose from a large selection of tennis rackets, as well as borrow badminton, squash and table tennis rackets. 

The rental fee for tennis rackets is 5.00. At the same time, however, you will receive a 5, - voucher for the HEAD Pro Shop in Tennis Point Vienna, which you can redeem immediately on all products there.

The rental fee for badminton and squash and pickleball rackets is 3.00

The rental fee for table tennis rackets is 2.00

 

We ask you to leave an ID at the rental, which you will receive back immediately after returning the racket.  

 

There is also the HEAD Test Center for all tennis fans. 

We would be happy to help you to find the right racket for you with you. 

 

Are there balls to borrow? Or a whole ball basket (tennis)? Or a ball machine?

You can buy HEAD Tennisballs in cans with 4 balls at the reception.

You can also rent a basket with apr. 30 balls for a rental fee of 16,00 Euros.

We do not offer ball machines.  

 

I have ordered from tennis-point.at or tennis-point.de and have questions about my order.

The Tennis Point Vienna is a tennis / badminton / squash center and has nothing to do with the sporting goods retailer Tennis-point.at or tennis-point.de.  

 

When I call Tennis Point Vienna, I am sometimes put through to the Wiener Stadthalle. How come?

The telephone number of the ticket hotline of the Wiener Stadthalle is very similar to the telephone number of the Tennis Point Vienna:

Tennis Point Vienna:      01 79 999 97

Ticket hotline Stadthalle: 01 79 999 79  

 

Please just try to call again, guests report that the telephone operator is often wrongly connected.  

 

Can you pay by credit card or debit card at Tennis Point Vienna? 

 You are welcome to pay with an ATM or credit card. 

However, when booking online, you can pay online (credit card or stripe) in advance.

 

How long is the restaurant open?

The opening times of the restaurant are generally at least one hour longer than the courts are open.

 

How do I get a cloakroom box? Is the cloakroom always open?

The cloakrooms are freely accessible to all guests. You can choose a free box.

To lock you need a 1 euro coin to insert, which you get back when you unlock it.  

The lockers room closes half an hour after the last possible playing-session.

 

Can I bring a dog into the facility?

You are welcome to take your four-legged friend with you to Tennis Point Vienna when you pick someone up, expect someone or go to the restaurant.

Bringing dogs to the sports facilities is NOT permitted.

For safety reasons, we ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed to wait for their master or mistress in front of the hall door, even if they are on a leash.  

 

Can I bring a scooter / bicycle into the facility?

There is a particular parking space for scooters and bicycles directly in front of the entrance.

At the reception you will receive a lock for the duration of your visit if you leave your ID.

Taking scooters and / or bicycles into the facility is not permitted for safety reasons.  

 

For a respectful cooperation, we kindly ask you...

NO street shoes, NO tennis shoes with red sand (tennis courts) or ONLY LIGHT soles (squash courts) to wear on the courts, 

not to play music on the courts,  to go to the cloakrooms to change clothes 

and not to bring glasses and / or alcoholic beverages into the sports facilities.
